I salute the sprit of Aarti. I learnt the spirit of fighting the odds and having patience from this story. We people in the cities have enough to contribute to similar work, but we never do it. We always run to serve our own greed. But Aarti's story has made me humble and I am forced to think of helping people in similar situations
Her name should be sent to agencies who give awards for brave/courageous young people. It will motivate and get her some funds. These are the people who make our country great! Bravo Arti!
This girl needs to be congratulated that she struggled and succeeded to get an education, and is also helping others. But on the other hand, one can't but help notice the attitude of her father. It exposes the fact that marathi men are so primitive in their thinking when it comes to female education. No wonder today Maharashtra has such a low female ratio (much lower than UP and Bihar of course), that it is in the company of two other most brutal states against women Haryana and Punjab, where the girl child is vanishing.
