Golden Eye

Beautifully captured although main subject is out of focus.
(Then that is what you get with point and shoot camera film or digital, with digital camera shake is a big problem although one may not notice it at time of pressing the button)
Colours, Lighting and Placement of the subject is perfect.
Follows the rule of thirds nicely.
It would have made a nice postcard if the Ferris wheel was in focus.

Will benefit with a bit of cropping on the right and bottom.
get rid of the green tower and a bit of the river.
It will look much better.

Hi Sheetal,

The pic has been taken with SLR and the eye is perfectly in focus. You should see the original pic. On rediff page the pic quality deteriorates.

Words of Wisdom from Woods
by D ROYCHOWDHURY on Jan 29, 2011 11:04 AM

As it seems to many- dead tree, but it is not so far it is "The Speaking Tree" is concern.
As I see it- The tree in this pic symbolises the maturity with the glory of past, rests on greenery (bed of grass)inspires youth with the "Words of Wisdom from Woods"staying with past and relating to present, one has to understand the underlying meaning of existance.
I am sure many will like the pic to dwell upon with the thoughts of The speaking tree.
Many thanks to Dr. R.Satpathy for his soul searching collection.
