Though it cannot be said that the above kind of women are completely responsible for crimes against women (such as ra-pe), they are definitely a major contributor. Even the moderately dressed women suffer because of the above type of women. Now don't tell me that men should learn to control / behave themselves and such crap. That's just not going to happen because of the biological built-up of men and women. And don't forget that even if 0.0001 percent of men commit such crimes, it is still a huge number.

Where do you draw the line? Some men will commit rape even on fully clothed women, including women in burka. What gives you the right to touch a woman, without her permission? YOUR MALE BRUTE STRENGTH? We are living in a civilised world, not as CAVE MEN. Women in Indian mythological stories were clothed similarly (check out Indian comics), they were not being raped (at least in those stories). MEN NEED TO KEEP IT IN THEIR PANTS, WHETHER THEY LIKE IT OR NOT.

Sharad, rapists don't rape on the basis of clothes they wear. Santa was right in saying that these scanty dressed women provoke them to rape every women they come across whether with or without dress. These women are curse for Indian culture.

Indian Culture is not DEFINED BY THE STATE, nor can it be mandated. Nobody has a right to define culture for others. Take it to the extreme, in muslim societies they define it as saying that women should are only allowed to see or breathe through slits in a burka. This is what happens, when majority starts defining culture for others.
