Country Vacations membership victim
by garlas kumar on Jan 23, 2011 10:32 PM  | Hide replies

I am also a victim of country club. They asked me and my wife to attend a seminar after which they give the gift. 2 to 3 people do somekind of brain wash showing lot of hotels around the world and say that everyyear we can have free stay, free plot. They asked me to pay 1lakh by credit card. I said i'll pay by check but they didnt leave me. I paid 25k by my debit card and rest by cheque. After going home, i realized i am duped. I immediately called my bank customer care and i cancelled my cheque online. luckily it was saturday when we attended this seminar. Good thing was we could save 75k that way. Big learning of life. From that point, we would be very careful before going for anything 'FREE' offer.

It is not company's fault (they are there to make money by hook or by crook)and this time they made off with your cash by crook.
And the crook is you Shwetha Pawar,
Did you stop and think for one minute, that you did not enter and competition or a lucky draw, so how come you won 25K.
The crook is you and you alone Shwetha Pawar.

Why to get lured by such run away thiefs called country club and others alike when you can plan your own vacations, train/flight bookings, and hotel bookings etc. Their promises are just fake. My family filled up a lucky Draw (??????) coupon at Big Bazaar Fatimanagar. It became a nightmare for me as those ppl started calling me day and night. I denied to buy their package in the first call itself though the lady will always call me and state that you had shown interest and had asked me to call later. Finally, I had to ask her very rudely to not to call next time and if so happens I threatened her to file a police complaint for mental harrassment. And all stopped. We need to be aware and awake.

Yes, this club is the most useless club and has no benefit to members. They fleece 3800 Rs every year towards service charges and taxes etc and it is waste of money.

As this belonged to Rajshekar Reddy the CM who died 2 years back, no one is strong enough to question the crooks..

Many have filed court cases and got their money back..

most have silently suffered having paid and getting humiliated by this fraud company.

I lost 60k for nothing.. and it is just pure waste..

yes, in fact, if u log on to the consumer complaints board, u'll find that there's a flood of compalints agaainst CC. We were promised a plot of land in Coimbatore along with all other facilities mentioned but thankfully common sense prevailed and we opted out. My friend, however, lost 50k to these frauds!

Country Club Fraud in Dubai
by asha on Jan 20, 2011 12:40 PM  | Hide replies

I just happened to read the message about country Club.I am living in Dubai. In October 2009 I received a call from Country Club one morning informing me that I won some gift and need to come to their hotel in Dubai for collecting the gift. I told them that it was not possible and i would come only after 2 days as i was busy. The person who called me agreed after much hesitation. On reaching the hotel to collect the gift I was told to attend a presentation. I attended the presentation. At the end I was forced to take membership of a scheme in which i can freely avail 6 nights hotel stay at any of their hotels worldwide. The discounted cost is 30,000 AED(370,000INR). They were forcing me so much that when they saw me not accepting their offer they started ridiculing me with comments. They even told me that they will give a further discount at 25,000 AED. I realized at last that it was a pure direct marketing technique ( impulse buying) to lure people with false promises. A fraud company it is.
