There is no need to diet in india food prices are going up so people would starve. Thank you Mr Sharad Pawar (Agriculture Minister of India).

at last common sense is dawning on health/nutrition experts: It is the oil that makes the difference. ALL refined oils A-Z whether sunflower, soy, peanut, corn: If it is refined, it is inflammatory, rancid, and unhealthy.

However, it is a bit far fetched to expect Indian restaurants to use olive oil for your benefit. A simpler solution would be to request your family restaurant to either use olive/coconut/ghee/butter.

Even these oils are to be used moderately BUT they are far less damaging to your body than the omega-6 long chained fatty acid refined unsaturated oils which are actually rancid and are touted as 'heart healthy'
