It is excess consumption of refined omega-6 unsaturated oils like corn, sunflower, soy, margarine that weaken immune system and cause hypothyroidism, oxidize cholesterol leading to atherosclerosis, and worst of all, are chiefly responsible for obesity epidemic.
Gujjus consume the worst oils like cotton oilseed, sunflower and have highest ratio of diabetes and obesity compared to other states

get your facts right about sunflower oil. it is also an healthier choice. infact, oils that were considered as the cause for cholesterol build up and heart attacks, such as coconut oil, now are found to have positive side on the metabolism of fats. no single oil is good or bad for health. to stay healty, use all oils in moderation, that is why there are many brands of blended oils in the market. research and realize.

No Mayur, sorry to disagree with u. Sunflower oil is omega-6 long chained (unstable) unsaturated fatty acids. When it is heated it becomes rancid, unhealthy causing atherosclerosis and linked to diabetes.
you are just believing the slick advertising and marketing. If u eat sunflower seeds I have no objection. But NO WAY is any refined unsaturated oil healthy
