Facebook to me seems like a fad. I wonder how long the hoopla will last because basically it is a waste of time

The one who has the audience wins.Not sure with the user base of Facebook, what would prevent them from partnering with a search engine or even launch their oen search

Google and facebook are different and so each one wont be a threat to the other. Same as Wikipedia is not a threat to Google even after most search results show a Wiki page on top.

Couple of drawbacks of facebook...

Insecured medium,your information can be misused and there were cases to prove the same.

Are the details posted authentic ?????

Do you wanted to expose something which may be personal and confidential as your today's friend may turn out to be a foe???

Rediff guys have no sens...Comparision is good always between two equal companies..but facebook is a new kid incomparison to google..
