IT jobs
by Tom Dick on Feb 24, 2011 09:44 AM

It is a pity that IT companies insist on bonds from youngsters when they join an IT company. The companies, if they wish to keep their employees, should provide compareable salaries and facilities to avoid poaching by competitors. Another factor is that most IT jobs in soft ware can be handled by B.Sc computer science/BCA/MCA and do not require an engineer. So it is natural for an engineering grad to be disillusioned that computer science student getting same salary. So it is upto our young engineers to be choosy if possible.Pick the right employers. One other thing we need to remember is that there is no compulsion from any one to join any particular company. These companies are in the business to make money and naturally they will look for bargains. So it is upto employees to decide. Once joined, work hard to prove yourself.

IT Job is like a job of Hookers
by Dude on Feb 23, 2011 05:46 PM  | Hide replies

It is time of Civil Eng, Chemical, Mech, Elec Eng's not Computer Engi.

I have seen many people leaving TCS and Infosys for sake of doing bussiness and that too in other domains.

Quality of IT jobs reduced and MCA's and BCA's have infringed all the jobs which Computer Engineers deserve.

Lot of politics in this field made it just like a field of real Hooker's. people in this field r just jealous with other people becoz they are not yet able to earn enough money even after getting so much pay scales.

This field is suffered by low ethics and higher amount of dishonesty.
