So a MORAL EDUCATION COMES INTO PLAY FOR CONTROL OF NOT ONLY INFLATION BUT ALL UNWANTED HAPENINGS FOR A PEACEFUL LIVING! I am convinced that EDUCATION TODAY IS NOT IN THAT DIRECTION AT ALL! Whether in a " well cried democratic government ' the common man has any contribution in controlling prices? Lets take the points one by one- (1)Loose monetary policy of the government what will a common man do here? 'loose ' is very vauge word! how many laws and attitudes of the men in control play in this word?....... (2)Increases in production costs what will a common man do in this? If he is employed he can perform his duties with full application and for full time engagement--thats all! (3)Tax rises a common man has no control .H e even does not know why the amount of tax proposed is needed , whether the assumptions made are correct or whether the money collected is utilised or whether money could not be collected - there are agencies which have to function with dedication and honesty! (4)Decline in exchange rates common man does not know why excahange rates increase or decrease and why its to be tagged with! (5)Decreases in the availability of limited resources such as food or oil People somewhat knows it and they were habituated to live with alternate materials till packed food concepts were commercially allowed to rot its stem! The chief reasons of inflation is this...not as the author explains..any way these are the methods how to bring down inflation..
The major reason for food inflation is this..lots of mega stores have come up in all major cities..they buy right from the farmer's field at almost throw away prices but the farmer is delighted because he was never ever given such importance all these years..but the cost is all roads lead to these super markets..if anyone notices 85% of food,cereals,greens,common man daily items are hoarded here..these super markets have created so much of warehouses nation wide to gobble up all the produce..another major point noting is 90% of all perishables gobbled by these stores are destroyed rather than sold or given free by these super markets..I have seen tons of greens being destroyed rather than given free or otherwise because new stock is filling and newer is still being indented also its costly to preserve them..
This is the major reason for spiraling price rise there is no end for this because if these super markets give them free or at an lower cost then it will become PDS after all these are made for profit not service..
The Super markets have got it all wrong in India..they are killing the minor vendors and monopolising their trade and buying..so in short the Farmer is either belonging to Reliance or More or Spencers or the like so many..

These super markets are the major reason for inflation because food isn't available to the common man we cannot expect the common man to step into these super markts.. the prices of food grains are spiraling because the common man is changing his eating patterns due to lack of green vegs which is his staple food..so the pressure is upon food grains and cereals..same logic applies to the meat or polutry or egg industry..on the other hand with the legalisation of online comodity trading lots of food is locked in millions of make shift gowdowns..the inefficecy of the PDS is also one of the major reasons food remains rotting while millions of fellow Indians go hungry and mal nutritioned..if the present condition isnt controlled then India would become like FRANCE where in the 18th century it became cheaper to eat cake than cook food..slowly and swiftly fast foods will be the staple diet of Indians..u can see beggars eating pizza ham and hot dogs..not because the nation has prospered but because food distribution system in India is decaying with corruption..the Private sector is defrauding the people of such an valubale thing called nutrition as it prefers to decay food rather than give them at cheaper prices..High time an responsible Govt takes charge and responsibility for the food distribution nation wide..if not we are sitting on an massive disaster..no point keeping 85% of fellow Indians starving with dreaming about India shining rather than food in their tummy filled..

Most of fellow Indians are dreaming of just getting of on an Green card or migration to other nations thus shirling accounabilty and responsibility as an Indian this speaks volumes about our fake nationalism being exibited..high time we understand that majority of our people are skipping food and making ends meets with great difficulty..sufficeint food is there but what is lacking the will to make clean the Food distribution system..in most of the cases the PDS failed because its an mere Political Tool used to get Votes for the ruling party or to teach people of an particular area an proper lesson if the ruling party looses election there..Almost all Political parties are wrecking the PDS and its utility the Congress the maximum because right now its in the Chair..as i said food is being wasted rather than given to fellow Indians..what an shame..

fully comply with verghese here. but when there is none listen regardless of how loud we cry what is the use. hit the ball properly when it is in our court. i mean, to tackle numerous problems a common man is facing all he/she can do is to ctrl his lust for kids thereby allowing population to drop. this should be our vision 2020.
The main cause for inflation is also population. Govt. should take stringet steps to control population. While higher income groups are following family planning with one child, the lower income group not following the family planning. Irrespective of religion, all people should follow family planning. The ration and other subsidies being given to lower income group should be cut if they produce more than one child. They should use the chinese method to control population. Another factor is fake currency. Equivalent to India's budget the fake money is also said to be in circulation. Severe punishments including hanging of culprits to be enforced to curb this menace. The main route cause is the fake money coming from Pakistan through Bangladesh and Nepal and china. These borders should be strictly guarded.
This article is partly right. The Author says that people should invest in better yielding options. But, howmany people have the capability to invest when it is becoming increasingly difficult to make ends meet? He says invest in stocks. Can the aam aadmi take such risks? Has the Author forgotten that over 20 Lakh crores has been lost in the Markets recently?
If there is a sincere and educated effort by the Govt, inflation can indeed be controlled. But, the present Govt is only interested in growth and they care a hoot about the problems for the aam aadmi w.r.t. inflation.

u r wrong, today it is almost 75% population which is poor. The various class that has cropeed is 1) The Rich class, 2) The Upper Class, 3) The upper Middle Class, 4) The Middle Class, 5) The Upper Lower Class, 6) The Lower Class, 7) The Lowest Class, 8) The Poor Class, and 9) The Poorest Class. Whereas in 80's we had only three class viz The Upper class, The Middle Class, and the Lower Class.
