many of probs of india are due to.. energy being misdirected. indians have energy.make no mistake about this. but problem is they dont know what are ways of solving their problems.
it is not entirely govt problem or caste problem or money problem even...it is is many cases due to enery misdirection. you can see, temples have huge amount of money. people are donating. but temples DONT KNOW, HOW to help the needy. this is a central problem of country. govt has problem, temples have this problem, rich folk also have it,communities also have this problem

The problem is we are fatalist. We blame everything on karma and do not make a genuine attempt to change things.
Caste system is the biggest reservation scam and merit killer. For thousands of years the manubadi thugs enjoyed caste based reservations. The result: Reservation for Bammans in the field of education made India one of the most uneducated and superstetious countries in the world. Reservation in military/Army for the kshatriyas made India a slave country that lost to two bit kings from Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Huns, East India Company etc. Reservations in business for the banniyas caused India to have the most dishonest business people in the world that create substandard goods and demand 5000 percent profit also called looting the customers. The list goes on and on.

Its not the reservation for the kshatriyas that made India a slave country. It was because of the lack of unity. History has the proof for this.
The Marathas, Rajputs and the Sikhs didnt fight the mughals and the british in unity and so they didnt win.
The Marathas, Rajputs and Sikhs (and others too......) fought in unity in the 1971 war (of course unity among the military, navy and the airforce) and with this unity the mughals (Pakistanis) were defeated. This is history!

There was no more caste system in 1971 war. But there was caste system in 1962 war with China which India lost with its pants down. If you don't believe me google on Nehru and has fellow casteman Kaul who given the top defence position due to caste connections and caused India's miserable defeat in the war with China.

Also by 1970s most of the Indian army was made of lower caste Indians including Yadavs, Jats (Sikhs as well as Hindus), Lodhis (OBCs), etc. Marathis rarely join Indian army and Rajputs (hun migrants) are too busy in doing politics nowadays.

You don't have to be so cynical about everything. I am a proud practicing hindu and I very strongly vouch for what Dr Goel said. Why can't you accept the truth? Was Baba Amte also a missionary? What about that guy from madurai(correct me if I am wrong) who feeds the mentally challenged by his own hands. How many hindus would do that? How many hindu charity groups have done that?
