by tamil on Feb 06, 2011 08:01 PM  | Hide replies

They are the Iranian refugees and they are the one responsible for supporting British to rule india..(incl the famous tatas)...these ppl sold India to British and settled in UK.. its better to put some Iranian girls who look much better to these traits....most corrupt business class...really sad to see media boosting this migrants...British sud be thankful for parisis..as without them they wud not have ruled india so effectively..

Get real, a small community selling India to british.. LOL. Stop blaming others for our mistakes. And businessmen of all community are supposed to be smart and money minded, and in India, you can't do business unless you bribe. Get real and start thinking about getting your system clean. India is a huge country and everybody have the opportunity to do good. Jealousyis imply not curable, sorry mate.

BTW, I am not parsi :)

Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, it was under his command, Indian forces concluded a victorious campaign during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

Lady Jamshedjee Road, better known as "L.J. Road", is a major road that runs through Mahim in Mumbai. It is named in honour of Lady Jamshedjee Jeejeebhoy, a philanthropic Parsi lady who funded the construction of Mahim causeway. So you can get your small mind from Colaba to Suburbs.

The Zoroastrians or Parsis as they are known in India have contributed more than their quota towards the social and economic well being of their beloved India which was their new home after Ancient Persia.

If you are not able to make peace on that.. go dig on it you uneducated racist!

Jamsetji Tata, J.R.D. Tata, Ardeshir Godrej and Pirojsha Godrej (I bet your ignorant mind hasn’t even heard of these great men and their contributions to our country). The contributions of Tata, Godrej and Wadia’s towards the society encompasses various initiatives like starting social trusts, anti pollution measures, adopting villages, family planning clinics, training unemployed youth, and community development activities etc. Further, they conduct social audits on a voluntary basis, provide medical, recreational facilities, develop sports and undertake consumer education campaigns and so on.

J.R.D. Tata was also a pioneer aviator and considered the most important businessman of India by Azim Premji and Narayana Murthy.

Perhaps you might have not even heard of Ratan Tata who is the chairman of Tata companies.

Homi Jehangir Bhabha was an Indian nuclear physicist who played a major role in the development of the Indian atomic energy program and is considered to be the father of India's nuclear program.

Dadabhai Naoroji who founded the Indian National Congress and who Mahatma Gandhi himself respected most in the campaign for freedom and Lady Cama who unfurled the first National Flag in 1907. She fought for freedom till the last in her own way by helping innumerable revolutionaries with money and materials, her home became a safe shelter for revolutionaries to escape the British.

Parsis have contributed across various fields in India, and continue to do so.

One field you didn't mention is music, where the inimitable Freddie Mercury comes to mind....Queen and Freddie are a treasure and rank among the top-most acts of all time.

I completely agree with you. I am sorry that you have to put up with the crap on this website. Most of the people are losers whose don't read and are so fascinated with the power of anonymous postign that they will say anything on these forums, especially racist, casteist and bigoted stuff. Parsis have made a fantastic contribution, no doubt and we are very proud to have them as fellow Indians..and i am a hindu

Dont count Parsis as freaks, Mr. Raj Kumar. I myself am an International player. We play with great zeal and enthusiasm, not like your current IDIOTIC Indian players, playing for the sake of money and not for country. We are very proud of our culture and heritage. Dont bluff.
