if u select good script then give them time. if u do an fd i bank u give them 2-3-9 yrs time to get it double. but in stocks people want return 2nd day. thats not possible. only those people earn who buy & forgets it for 2-3 yrs. others simply make loss.

not true people who purchased at 21000 level still waiting to recover to original values despite 3-4 years are gone.
but agreed now it is time to select good script and go for long term...
If any investor wants to earn from Shares one should study the principles of Warren Buffet & Benjamin Graham & apply then.The best concise book is " How Buffett does it".I am follwoing the principles and never lost a rupees in stock market in 10 yrs so far.Happy Investing Guys!
This article can be taught in class. this is useless in real life. every person has dreams with small amount in pocket. everybody is not buffett to wait for years. i suggest rediff should not waste time of both of us on such stupid articles
