The whole ambience with the post rain is awesome. (Hopefully, it is rain not a broken gutter or pipe) I do prefer a holiday like that. The house boat is actually very inviting. But, in reality where ever you go in India its always crowded and by the time you reach a place, you just want to get back home. Why is that?
All Govt offices, specifically hte old heritigae buildings where it is located. here you can relax in the heritage buildings along with the babus & do nothing like them.

I actually love those buildings. Its sad the interiors are nothing but garbage. You are right about the govt babus. They build their rooms airtight (done in recent times as a matter of privillege) have an A/C installed and block the natural air flowing into the halls for everyone else.
1 Parliament 2 Judicial courts.....all they do is drag cases from one date to another.....its a dating game and not a judicial system...i doubt a strong LOKPAL wud help in stopping corruption because the judicial system in India is non existent....JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED.

well said, my friend. But we can only get frustrated but do nothing ourselves, unless electoral reforms are done first. Anna Hazare's movement will never bring down corruption nor will it bring a strong Lok Pal. Cangress knows how to play the communcal card and they already have. Come to my fields and, at least, for 24 hours, be by yourself :)

that is a pass time for them, like reading book and playing chess as mentioned in the article above. since these require education and brain, they resort to a little down to earth pass-time.

Brilliant one! Not just 'top' place, but no. 1 place to do absolutely nothing.
