Actually best way to control tension, stress, diseas is self awarness. india is land where true master like shiva, buddha started spirituality. yet its very shamful that most indian are diseased, weak. and so fragille you talk on poltics or any topic and see their face. they get so agitated as if will get heart attack.
best solution is learn little bit psycology, meditation are very helpful.
j krishnamurty, osho, vipassana are very helpful. landmark forun, NVC are very usefull too.

For a beginng, it is not necessary that all the methods should be followed together. These can be practiced by beginning right from the easiest one, like deep breathing and then proceed as per the time and method availability.
