Gates Cambridge Scholarship

Check out the profile of Gates Cambridge Scholar to University of Cambridge. Equivalent to Rhodes, it is awarded to outstanding students committed to doing good in society for post graduate study at Cambridge University, U.K. Students are equally impressive and many from India have done us proud in that too.

Congratulations Amit. You are the pride of India. Please do you research abroad and later come back to India and help India improve.

Please remember the struggle your parents have done their whole life and now as you will be doing well it is your responsiblity to take care of them and give them happiness that they were not able to effort all this years.

Good Luck for Future.

While i extend my heartiest congratulations to Amit Kumar for this achievment, rediffmail should know that there have been MANY more Indians from various states who have got the SAME distinction. The difference is previously MEDIA didnot nor were allowed to do such coverages. My family has one and my dear classmate from BHU was another, whom I directly know. The problem Amit let not this distinction make you TOO PROUD.Take my advise.

Stop abusing Bihar
by aftab on Dec 14, 2011 01:38 PM  | Hide replies

I hope people who hurl abuse on Bihar are reading it.

Without being rude I want that please stop having negative view about Bihari.

Bihar may be poor but Biharis are among the brightest India.

Yes we have migrant labour as well which only proves that while one section is brilliant the others are labourious

Aftab,
Not just Biharis, everyone gets abused by someone else in this forum. I have seen Marathi people get abused by all others, Tams abused by others, Southies abused by Northies and vice versa. The list goes on. Thats the misuse of anonymity. Not point in wasting time trying to correct their viewpoints.
