paid reviews

failed giants like nokia and windows have joined hands to take over android and apple by spending very large amounts of money for paid reviews which help build positive opinion in the gullible. these schemes wont work on everyone though.

Doesn't appeal, Android Rocks! Lumia may fail to beat IOS or Android Market share. This article is totally biased and looks like a paid advertisement.

WP is not good enough
by Mayuresh Chitale on Dec 08, 2011 06:07 PM  | Hide replies

Seriously, WP is one of the worst mobile operating system ever. Its based on the obsolete Windows CE which was released like 12 years ago. Thats the reason why it wont support dual core processors. Like other MS products like Windows, Office MS has simply changed front end and added few simple features to make it look like a cool device. Old wine in a new bottle! Dont forget any MS os is susceptible to crashes, data loss, viruses etc. Besides they are priced at 30K. Android phones are much better value for money. If you are looking for good designs and build consider Sony android phones. They are in 15k - 20k range, have larger screen, sliding keypad, good audio video quality and ofcourse tons and tons of cool apps.

Oh I wish somebody paid me ! It would be such a fun job to do. But no. Main problem is that MS is a mononpoly and monopolies never benefit customers. Monopolies always come up with overpriced under performing products. Competition is good. Although Windows Phone is not a good OS its still a welcome addition in what would otherwise have been Android - IOS duopoly.

U r th most un-informed fellow abt the mobile phones I have ever seen, just bcoz u use android doesnt mean its better, Windows CE has died many years ago, window 7 is developed from scratch along side the Window 7 PC os code line, the kind of features Lumia has come up with Android phones can only dream to come up with

Seriously ?! Search google for "Windows CE is NOT dead" and see the first link. IT clearly mentions : By the Way, Windows Phone 7 is based on the Windows Embedded Compact 7 core. Besides its just common sense any modern OS WILL have multiprocessor support.

But, "based on" is necessarily not the same as "is exactly". And should multiprocessor support be the decisive factor to judge if a phone is good?

I am not saying that WP7 is good. I have used it on HD7, and there are loads of problems. I have not used Mango yet.

The point that I am trying to make is that technology superiority shouldn't really play a part in judgement. The end user experience is what matters. What powers the UX, personally does not matter to me.
