Real men ride the Bullet, on be it dirt or neat or wet or rain or shine or city or village.

Rest all ride everything else, including the HD.

Period.

I wonder who in Royal Enfield decided to name their model Bullet, with it being as slow as a sloth and plagued with terrible reliability issues, apart from occasionally giving some hernia or back trouble.I still don't see why it has a fan following, even though I did buy a 1983' thinking of myself going on long rides, which turned out to be nightmares.I have had my silencer fall off on the way to the RTO,and my kick perform a disappearing act as well, apart from various other issues, battery, capacitor etc.
Most people fall for the Bullet's old world charm and nothing else, apart from most(90%)just trying to show off, without knowing a rat's behind about motorcycles in general. Not that I'm an expert!

Nowadays new generation bullets are just plain rubbish,no offence meant,to any owner. The older ones were much better, atleast they worked better and longer, plus they were more reliable if you were lucky. Now I'm equally flustered if not more with a proper cult motorcycle, which to be honest, deserves it's worldwide following. But I am not complaining this time cause the trouble and time consumed is worth it.

that's why i say, rx100 is the best thing that ever happened to the indian motorcycle segment, i don't think a single indian bike can beat it within city limits, since the rx can go up to 120 in no time.

the only shortcoming though, since it's an old bike, it can't go up to speeds like 150, 160 and above, but "really", i don't see anyone achieving that even on national highways in india, plus its absolutely phenomenal (if only the average was better :( )
