I wonder who in Royal Enfield decided to name their model Bullet, with it being as slow as a sloth and plagued with terrible reliability issues, apart from occasionally giving some hernia or back trouble.I still don't see why it has a fan following, even though I did buy a 1983' thinking of myself going on long rides, which turned out to be nightmares.I have had my silencer fall off on the way to the RTO,and my kick perform a disappearing act as well, apart from various other issues, battery, capacitor etc. Most people fall for the Bullet's old world charm and nothing else, apart from most(90%)just trying to show off, without knowing a rat's behind about motorcycles in general. Not that I'm an expert!
Nowadays new generation bullets are just plain rubbish,no offence meant,to any owner. The older ones were much better, atleast they worked better and longer, plus they were more reliable if you were lucky. Now I'm equally flustered if not more with a proper cult motorcycle, which to be honest, deserves it's worldwide following. But I am not complaining this time cause the trouble and time consumed is worth it.

that's why i say, rx100 is the best thing that ever happened to the indian motorcycle segment, i don't think a single indian bike can beat it within city limits, since the rx can go up to 120 in no time.

the only shortcoming though, since it's an old bike, it can't go up to speeds like 150, 160 and above, but "really", i don't see anyone achieving that even on national highways in india, plus its absolutely phenomenal (if only the average was better :( )
Hero should have priced their First Bike much lesser that 78,000/- INR to catch the market. They cannot expect that their bike would sell more after divorce from Honda. My suggestion is that being a Biker for more than 35 years is that it should have been priced between 50,000/- to 52,000/- which would fit into bill. I have a Hero Passion Pro and Suzuki,I would hve gone for Impulse if the price range wuld have been between 50 to 55K. Mileage is also a Criteria which they have not mentioned and also the pick up and Maximum Speed. This would add value to the advertisement in case they have incorporated on it. Because a cheap price tag will give an impression of "something of low quality" like we generally see a chinese mobile.

with already sky rocketed price of fuel, this high price beauty might not as favorite as other models of hero honda such as passion, glamour, splendor unless it provides better average than its competitors in 150 cc segment.....
With a very average tech specs & a less than 150CC engine .... wt makes the munjals think that it is worth a launch even .. LOLzzz,
With the major mass getting torn and tattered with price hikes,,, it makes zero sense to go for this machine .....except if & only if u feel good about paying for the brand name.
Max Power: 9.7 kW (13.2 Ps) @ 7500 rpm and Max Torque: 13.4 N-m @ 5000 rpm. Why is torque mentioned always and how is it important in the context of driving/owning a bike? And Power is given as 'ps'. I remember having an activa which was 12 bhp? How is this different? I am a techie wid satyam, so the queries might seem too basic. But would really appreciate some answers as I am planning to take a bike soon. Thanks
Hi, we have test rided this bike it doesnt have pickup, Splender is better than this, Only Positive point is it can go on potholes easily. I wont recommend this bike to anyone.

What makes you think that Hero will be a design pioneers!! They would struggle for their survival after their tech split from Honda after 2014!!
