It is surprising that no RAKHI story has yet been written about Rahul-Priyanka. What about a Rakhi story about a good and simple "brother" of Sonia? May be they are shy. A good, indo-european Rakhi story is awaited.
Dear Freinds,These are individual choices at various stages and level of society.U will be surpirsed to hear that there are people who have even gifted Audi's to their sister. It all depends...so we dont need to blame rediff for their advrt as this is a functional sale for them too.

Thanks Girish for your reply. For years, we have been been covering inexpensive gifts for sisters and a few of our visitors asked us to get some of the best gadgets to gift, irrespective of prices. And that's what we did to present the list.

Hello Aman, Rediff is no way associated with the article. The article is written by us and is submitted to Rediff as part of viewer's contribution program.
We know its really weord to suggest gifts of Rs 50,000 or 20,000 on raksha bandhan but we were asked by our viewers to present a list of gadgets to gift which were not available on web or something unique rather than posting about ear-phones, mp3 player as a gift.

Gaurav the men who have posted these comments need to have reality check. If people cannot afford that does not mean it is a unreasonable gift. After all dont boys get gadgets gifted for clearing exams, getting a driving license or anything as trivial. If you have a suster give her what you can. its not about money idiots. No one's judging a brother's love with the price of gift.

Thanks for understanding Neeta. I know that people always ask and search for inexpensive gadget list or gift ideas, but there are also people who look beyond prices and the post was meant for them. The article is a requested one. Not to say, one of my friend gifted an iPhone to her sister and another in my friend circle gifted 10 days trip to Switzerland, whereas I gifted only a cellphone. So, it depends on out budget. And to add more, I have also added information about the inexpensive gadgets and the idea behind the post. (See, the last part of the article)
People should read it whole before blaming the writers.
