The article is most beautifully done with both the pictures as well as videos. I loved hearing the sound of the V-twin in the videos. Some suggestions though: Why you are not having disc brakes. With more power & weight, the bike must be able to stop and brake properly otherwise it can become risky. You must have both front and rear discs along with ABS, to handle all that power. Also try to increase the torque by putting a bigger sprocket to give it a more cruiser like attitude.
V twin engines have been around since the 30s, why We indians call every thing an invention when it is not. An invention is something that has never been done or built before. If some one makes a magic wand that an be waved on any one who is sick and gets cured instantly then that is an invention. This can be called a new design of v twin engine for A Enfield Motor cycle,BUT NOT AN INVENTION. V TWINS HAVE BEEN USED FOR NEARLY A CENTURY. For A Harly Davidson they are available of the shelf in various horsepower. This chap just modified an engine and did not build it from scratch. FOR ME IT IS NO INVENTION.

I agree with you,had this chap designed, built and perfected something that was unique and never heard of before yes then he could have been credited as inventor and his creation an invention, but not this engine. We Indian's love to call everything that we have not seen in our life before an invention, If some one makes a square electric bulb we will call it an invention. I remember when some here said that he has invented a heated jackets that will keep the wearer warm in winter, yet these items are have been on the market for nearly 30 odd years. Come on India you can do better the reinventing the wheel.

Finding a way to do something which we thought it is a magic or impossible, is called invention.
Congrats on a beautiful job. Brings back memories of my own youth and the long hours I spent working on bikes. Nothing beats the sound of a sweet running Royal Enfield, Norton, Triumph or BSA. Is your Musket V-Twin in production or still a prototype? All the very best in your plans....would love to come over to your shop and see the bike !
Hi Aniket! Congratulations! That's great work indeed!
I identified with the way you described your technological evolution from paper to wood to metal. I really thank the stars for Aluminum which is really just the best metal to learn with. Plus the loss of your wooden molds. Invention I'm convinced is most acurately described as the triumph of sheer, persevering will over all the ways in which things can go wrong with a particular machine! The fates do make us take the long way sometimes. But in the end I bet you learnt from it all. Time is the only real problem.
Check out my blog for the theory and design of a new kind of flying machine I am in the process of building!
