Can one be happy eating his favourite sweet when he has just received some disturbing news about a close friend or relative?

Can someone be peaceful internally, when he keeps thinking about injustice done to him by his boss or ill treatment meted out to him by his close relative?

Can a person enjoy his picnic in serene sea shore or marvellous mountain side, if his mobile brings news of a business loss or a loss of tender / contract applied by his company before he set out on his picnic?

Well, the answers are obvious.

Just like physical food you eat nourishes you physically, you also need to plan and pursue methods to nourish your inner being called soul.

And what is the good and nourishing food for you, the soul?

Not almonds, cashew, apples..

It is just plain good thoughts. Think good about yourself first. Find out your good qualities and virtues. Think of the days you were happy and analyse what made you happy. Plan and make efforts to increase those good qualities and good times. Do not get bed-ridden by thinking about your bad qualities and bad times. Your efforts to increase your own goodness will slowly and steadily obliterate your bad qualities and times.

At the next level, look at the specialties, virtues, good qualities of others instead of their weaknesses and bad qualities. If by chance you see any thing bad about others, do not discuss and spread it to third persons.

Very true, food cannot be panacea. But taking right food helps. In short food cannot be a cure, but it can aid.

Last year we had a nature tour in the district of Darjeeling and Sikkim , it is on the old silk route , The route is still virgin in nature and with a couple of days leave from ur busy schedule , it was a real relief to all of us . You can just check with Mousumi 0-96746-16394/9432051039 , she can suggest you some good places in nature tourism
