why victimise pilots
by kay on Apr 28, 2011 10:18 PM  | Hide replies

Many have forgotten one of their demands..Why 50 profitable routes were closed and pvt lines benefited.?

Why spend Rs 95 cr on a mgmt consultant?

Why not conduct enquiries into why the aitline is making a loss?

The Delhi HC appealed to the Pilots to work on humanitarian grounds. What do the pilots get in return?

How long shd Pilots bear the sufferings.

If other airlines can jack the prices and paxes are willing to pay then, why not increase the fares meaningfully?Today airline fares are = train fares.Less than I class A/c and a lot quicker.

The pilots training course costs abt Rs 40 lakhs and not all pilots get paid Rs4 lakhs pm.only captains ,after nearly 7 years, get near that figure. The AI mgmt is exaggerating.can the pilots salary be = to a loaders? How did the Minister bring in this comparison??? He implied that pilots were getting a larger share of the pie....They deserve to.

When paxes are inconvenienced they lay the blame on the pilots but the causes are never examined and solved. No pilot would shuck/risk a job if it pays so well.

And unemployment amongst pilots is massive. That does not mean that pilots shd be dismissed en masse.

If they are not happy then they should migrate to other countries/companies. Why they remain in the same company and bring it bad repute by going on strike every now and then.
If profitable routes are closed, then how does a pilot struggle or were they doing a great job before such routes were closed. Ask anyone who travels extensively he will tell you.
A pilot pays 40 lakhs a MBA also pays same amount, so do all of them get teh salary of 4 lakh PM in the begining. Salaries come with performance.
Delhi HC was wrong to tell them to work on humanitarian grounds, they are public servants and must work on these grounds only. If they do not wish to work they can take their licenses and go back home.

Think in the Indian perspective

Instead of importing data from the West. Blue berries, come on man, can't you suggest something that grows in India? If you can't then just keep mum instead of suggesting things like this.
