Hindoos are very good in copying. During pre-historic days, arabs used to prepare Hina using Camel dung. Later on, egyptians modernised into Tattoo. French stole this secret from Egypt and introduced to western world. It is Africans in USA ultimately popularised it.

Read the bible not available in india. It is Yesu who first prepared Tattoo to impress maagdalene in egypt.
Some says, during Alexendar times, greece brought Hina to India.
Some people also believes, when lord was re-born in Kashmir, he gave it first to Kashmiris and then it spread rest of world.
