EPF is best in terms of scheme but its a real pain to maintain when u r changing job frequently. I dont understand why it cant be maintain like any other bank account with all restriction then we can easily share the account no. with new employee. I changed the job 5 month back and its still not transferred and again I changing the job dont know what to do. Any suggestion is welcome.

they dont even have a centralized web site, every state has a different website format and nothing is working.

Better claim the money in your account declaring that you are not employed. This money can be invested in PPF safely
Bangalore EPFO website does not provide any details of the member PF balances. It is shameful that being in the IT Capital, the EPFO organization in Bangalore has not been able to provide this information which is very crucial to small savers.

No , I guess thats after 5 years of your establishment is tax free . Otherwise tax should be paid in respective slab.
It is ridiculous that being a software exporter to world nations no meaning in having EPFO website which is 100% useless. I request someone should take these people to court to change the system. Shame India, shame India!!! Only God should save.
