for 1000s of years, the so called forward caste people had reserved education for themselves. Now when govt is trying to reserve edcuation for just 50 yrs for lower caste people, why are you complaining ? Why did you not complain when education was being reserved only for brhamins in the last 1000 years ? Was that fair ? Wasnt it rotten on the part of the brhamins to do that ?

Most of those who got admission in IIT,IIM etc through quota are financially capable.Their success only enjoyed by their family not their community.Most of them enjoying this system for 3-4 generation.Is it is the aim the quota policy? What about meritorious & economically backward people ? What about our 70% rural population ? why not bring them under quota system ?

Some people just because of their birth are treated like peace of sht, are considered incapable of doing anything worth while in life and kept out of "intellectual" circles. Isn't this biased and rotten to the core?

Those people are still being kept out of intellectual circles and considered as good for nothing. Quota is not helping the real needy. Only the creamy layer of the so called backward classes are benefiting from the Quota system, not the poor backward class and rural population. They continue to suffer. There are economically and socially backward among forward classes and there are rich and educated among backwards. Cast based Blanket Quota System is for nothing but votes. Nobody has genuine concern.
