Nothing against this business but frankly, its a tad bit unethical and borderline (if not totally) abusing coyrights.
However, the suggestion that this is a new way of doing business is totally bogus. May people do that, its just that they may not be engineers or educated or savvy enough to get it printed somewhere (so lacking in marketing).
although they might have launched the site and tried to sell their T-shirt but it didnt worked that much so now they are trying to use the opportunity that India won the world cup and tied up with rediff to give them advertisement.

Don't mix commertial sentiments with immotional one. Learning english is good commertial activity for financial health. It doesn't have anything to do with nationality issues. Learn Hindi or whatever resional language very well which you like.

You are correct that literacy rate should be elevated but not by Indian standards, I guess they call an individual literate if he or she is able to sign or spell their name in any language.
This model is similar to the bhelpuri, fruit vendors outside exhibitions, good for some, not good for many, and definitely not something that is viable in the long run as these vendors find out that they have to deal with security, police, hafta collectors etc in the small profit that they deal with. The only good thing in this seems to be the registration of De ghumaka web address. Its only a matter of time when this will also be labelled as piracy.
