MRI is typically done for serious medical cases and is quite an expensive procedure. so, this article stands to say that one should go for MRI before going on a diet to know whether it will benefit or not, an expenditure that may run into thousands. weight loss has become a multi billion dollar industry and is surviving on these fads. cut your fat intake, go for one hour exercise in the morning. rest the body will take care of itself. and please stop comparing yourself with those anorexic models (consider sonakshi sinha for a change).

Charan's advice is cute no doubt. But for people whose bodies, blood sugar and Lipid profiles have not responded to diet or exercise a greater predictability is necessary for prescription of a course of action.
There are alternate treatment modalities like liposuction and a ethical doctor surely would like to know whether the patient is a good candidate for it.
Hence any diagnostic tool which aids in preparing a more predictable treatment plan for obese, lifestyle disorder patients is welcome.
