Mediclaim floating policy issued by Bank of Baroda
by PRAKASH VAZIRANI on Sep 25, 2010 11:08 AM

Would like to know how good is this policy whether it works and whether it is accepted as cashless policy? Since the premium is very low I am really not sure of its goodness. Can anyone throw light on these policies?

PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM PRIVATE COMPANIES!!
by SAMEER NIKALJE on Sep 15, 2010 01:54 AM

For any policy, Please prefer any PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) company. May be you could go for The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. It is the leading company in General Insurance Sector since so many years. Private ones will rob you. Think again.

Don't take any mediclaim policy-Just travel by train !!
by Mamta Banerjee on Sep 14, 2010 06:17 PM

Travel by train and if you meet any accident then railways take care of your medical expenses. If you die, your dependend gets a job. This is the best way to reduce unemployment and living a life without mediclaim. Just travel in train and I can guarantee you will meet an accident on your 9th travel

You may write a Grievance to the Insurance company in a letter alongwith all the photocopies of necessary and relevant documents. If still you are not redressed then you should go to the Ombudsman.

Mediclaim
by Krishna Aravind on Sep 14, 2010 04:22 PM  | Hide replies

I had taken a mediclaim policy of Reliance General Insurance. for the last 4 years I used to pay the premium without any delay, and tillnow not yet claim a single penny. the policy which i had taken is for 1 lakh rupees for 3 members of my family and the last premium i had remitted is Rs 1500.
When I went to renew my policy the concerned person has said that my premium has increased to Rs 15000/ and not the one which i had payed earlier.
what suggession you had to help me to renew my policy at the old tariff.

Dear Friend, you may enrich your knowledge of insurance policies and stop using wrong and hilarious terms by contacting me for any of your queries relating to mediclaim, etc. Iffco Tokyo is the Insurance company from which you would have bought your Mediclaim Policy and TTK Healthcare shall be your TPA for the said policy as per IRDA regulation 2000. 91-9869548742.
