Vegetarians are more cruel
by Vivek Dev on Sep 08, 2010 09:10 PM  | Hide replies

Vegetarians and animal lovers are more cruel to fellow humans. Hitler was a vegetarian. Jains spend crores of rupees on kabutar dana, the same money could be utilised for the welfare of humans. Indians generally are more interested in animal welfare rather than the welfare of their fellow humans, therein lies much of the evil in INdia.

Dear Vivek , humans have encroached on the natural territory of animals , animals have equal right to live ..and one Hitler dont represent all vegetarians !! Stalin , Mao se Tung were non-vegetarians - does that make all non-vegetarians cruel ? Jains are doing right thing if they are feeding kabutars - if we proclaim to be a superior race that it is our duty to take care of other species as well ..and dont talk about "evil in India " - YOU ARE A PART OF INDIA !!

That is not the issue here. Jains are wasting resources and also endangering other people's health and lives. They are acting in most irresponsible manner.

I m not a jain but as far as I know "kabutardana" is not that precious of a resource dear ...take a look in the mirror next time you waste the real resources - "water" and " electricity"....and I belong very very much to mankind thats why I am sensitive enough to care about other animals...

Alex Thomas-It is Chimpanzees who are cannibal! It was discovered by Dr. Jane Goodall and other scientists in Common Chimpanzee, in Tanzania at Gombe Stream National Park in 1960.
Gorillas are VEGETARIAN!

PETA is being unreasonable

How does PETA know that the meat is from a tortured animal ? Have they witnessed the torture ? If not, how do they know that this meat was not picked from a grocery store ?

By the way, meat meant for human consumption is not obtained by torturing animals.

ok..please enlighten us , where does the meat that sells at grocery store and meant for human consumption comes from ? Have you ever been to an abattoir ? The legs of goats were tied and they were thrown from a platform which results in broken legs so that it just lies there where it is thrown and not move around !! Have you made an effort to read or see about the condition of chickens that are keept in such filthy and unhygienic conditions that you would stop eating chicken for the rest of your life..talk sense ..

I have seen a slaughter house - punjab agro meats and it is not like you say. There is no torture. Its like this - there are always two sides to every thing. In this case it is vegetarians vs non-V. If one is a non-V one the vegetarians should not get upset.

Non veg has harmed mankind in a big way . Almost all the behavioural problems are due to non veg . How on earth one can kill an innocent, helpless, defenceless, harmless animal .Shame on all non veg fellows .!!!!!!!!

It is done the same way humans kill plants for human consumption !

Moreover, these animals are specifically raised in farms for human consumption.

Is pretense better than truth?

Caring for animals is a good feeling but it does not imply that eating animals or killing them is over or likely to stop in foreseeable future.

Let animal rights people go for open debate rather than coercive pretending that we do not hurt animals or that we know how to live without hurting them.

Does any country legally recognize "Fundamental Rights" of animals?

And what is their solution for rights of humans opposed to animals? if students do not dissect real animals, not only they risk not knowing about them in correct detail, but also they violate the general scientific requirement that Primary Observation is far far better than Secondary Observation.
