No gender politics please

Same can happen to a guy also. It is only that the physical strength of men that leads to rape. Females manipulate men mentally and acheive this.

So gender has got nothing to do with this.

Women should know where and how to go and also know about the surroundings before hand. Even for men it is not safe to be alone where notorious things happen

"Same can happen to a guy also."

ofcourse it can..anything can happen right ? But it doesnt. At worst a man will get robbed of his purse. A woman will have to face a whole lot more, from being groped and passed lewd comments on and being eyed by lecehrous indian men, who act like they have never seen a woman. Cockroaches as someone put it very aptly.

In india with the kind of mentality we have it is a 100 times harder for a woman to travel alone.

Anycase in india we arent that adventerous. Though i have seen female forigners travel alone in india (i guess they dint have a chance to acquanit them selves with the mentality of indian males)

In Mumbai, if someone one caught teasing girl, they are beaten like anything by other people..

In Delhi, if someone is teasing girl, other people around start looking at the girl :)

personal experience, stay in both places

No no. Dont be sooo feministic. Same can happen to a guy also. It is only that the physical strength of men that leads to rape. Females manipulate men mentally and acheive this.
