Despite all the projected glamor in modeling and fashion, its by and large a vacuous and superficial trade. Its sad how models and designers (Hemant Trivedi et al.) tend to fade into the twilight once their primetime is over. Its true of all professions but in the case of fashion, its all the more stark and cruel. Most models quit alternate careers to make the most of their dreams and by the time they are in their thirties, their career is finished, with no hope of an alternate career its not surprising that they slump into depression.
