Education
by Vijay Mehta on Nov 23, 2010 03:24 AM

I read the comments of many friends here. I am really surprised the thinking of Indian males are still not improved with literacy. As I understand the girls are also very much advanced in this important part of their lives. They are not the women of 100 years back. They know how to bring up this matter to their partners whatever the family level is.
This can be made more better by providing the sex education to the kids either in college level or after the college by professionals. This should be mandatory for men and women as soon as get adult by law. This way we will have a good society who knows how to maintain the relationship, how to enjoy the married life and how to maintain the family planning. This help to make India a better country.

LOW LIBIDO
by dilip modwil on Nov 07, 2010 06:03 PM

IN INDIA IT IS MORE COMMON BCOZ INDIAN FEMALES PLAY A PASSIVE ROLE IN LOVE MAKING. SOCIAL STIGMA RESTRAINS THEM FROM TAKING AN INITIATIVE IN SEX AND ALSO THEY CAN'T ASK FOR MORE IF PARTNER EXHAUSTED OR NOT DOING WELL. AS PER DR. KOTHARI INDIAN MALES DON'T DO MUCH FOREPLAY AND REACH ORGASM EARLY,WHILE FEMALES HAVE NOT EVEN HOTTED UP.AND IT IS NOT ONE TIME FLOP SHOW. IT REPEATS EVERY NIGHT.WITH THE BIRTH OF A CHILD MALE DEMONSTRATES HIS PROWESS WHILE FEMALE IS STILL SEXUALLY STARVED.SO IN THE DISGUISE OF CHILD CARE,FATIGUE OR HEADACHE FEMALES AVOID SEX.

its no more that marriages are settled in heaven

Its too easy for a woman to go for a divorece rather than for a man, its simple if girl leaves the house of his husband and she claims alimony she will be provided with the same as this is the mess in our Hindu law and on the contrary the man has no othe oppirtunity bcos he can not leave his house and moreover if he takes the step for divorce, not only he but all of his family members have to face criminal cases of dowry etc. so he keeps mum and is ready to face the hardship for whole life moreover friends in 70% cases the their is no dowry demand... but still we have to face this all until their is no change in the divorce laws and dont think this is an easier prcess in our country.

May be Hindus Must Adopt Easy Divorce Laws like Muslims
by True Hindustani on Nov 05, 2010 01:17 PM  | Hide replies

Because in case of hindus and indians, parents decide and girls just agree for the marriage though she may not love the man and may be loving some one else at heart. Then there will be hundreds of excuses to avoid sex,etc and since the girls fear about divorce and society humiliation etc they just pull on though they are not happy, but husbands too do not have guts to call it quits or to divorce and they too silently suffer till death. That way muslim men are luckier since they can divorce and marry any time of the day without any problem.May be hindus too must adopt that aspect of easy divorce of muslim personal law soon to prevent stress of millions of desperate and stressed out hindu males,

In other words allow women oppression . Men can have multiple wives and divorce whenever they want just by saying it 5 times, like changing ones clothes.
But not allowing the same luxury to women. That double std and called hypocrisy !

Anyway the law you are talking about is absurd and is only for male domination where women is considered as property. So Hindus secular laws are way better than theirs !

All this talk of women oppression is mainly hyped up in many cases. The real oppression is taking place in rural areas or in urban area amongst the illiterates. In the middle and upper middle class the reverse is happening. Do u know that if a woman wants to jail her hubby, its really so easy in our laws. Dowry is one of the tools. Recently an employee of Infy murdered his wife bcos he was so frustrated with her tactics and he found the legal process very not very liberating. So this legal frustration claimed a life, u can say that, though killing is unjustified. Today women want to have the cake and eat it too..bcos marriage defines them as a dependant. The reality is that they are also earning, and since they know the legal loopholes, they are playing around with it and misusing it. Those who are illiterate are the ones who dont know to do anything and suffer silently.

I agree, we need contract marriages and many other Islamic customs for weddings. That way the double-standards in society will reduce.

A lot of women in India don't have any say in their husband choice.

Parents decide and they just nod out of fear and respect.
