Regarding research and development,China has been investing heavily and the environment of research is much more professional in China compared to India... Indian patent applications are lying in dustbins due to our callous system where as China is getting their patents on daily basis.. China has developed its indigenous technology for nuclear energy,inter-continental ballestic missile,Anti satellite missiles..where as our leaders are busy in begging others for technology and busy in siphoning out wealth and money from the country...    Forward   |   Report abuse

But the fact remains that they are focussed in nation building in all ways. They are good at research, their universities churn out bright graduates. They are also ensuring now that English is no longer a handicap for them. We know how education, research and welfare of citizens are handled in India, despite the hefty taxes we pay.
