Be careful at airport security checks outs
by Bhaskar Dutta on Oct 19, 2010 05:02 PM

While they understand hindi and speak a few words, but at the Casablanca airport security check while you are exiting the country, they are interested to get some dollars taking the name of Sharukh Khan, etc., etc. They see Indians to be rich and can spare some dollars for their benefit. They wont be satisfied, unless you give at least a $10 note. Best is to be ignorant and take out $1 notes of one or two and may be they will let you go.

Same in Israel
by Dhiren Kanojia on Oct 19, 2010 04:28 PM

I have been in Israel and Egypt in 2003. I have seen same situation there. More than 90% population watch Hindi movies and biggest star in Israel is Amitabh Bachchan. I have yet to see single 40 person in Israel who doesn't know Amitabh. Everywhere you go people will go call you with Hindi words, sing bollywood songs. So amazing.

You think Srilanka will accept them ?. Or you think Malaysia ., Singapore or even Burma (recall the 1960 anti tamil / indian riots in Rangoon that gave birth to the (in-) famous Burma Bazar in the great chennai) will accept them ? Above all the Tamilians find their umbilical chord link with English and London Tower Bridge (without looking at themselves in the mirror) . See if English people will embrace them. Good Riddance from India !!
Also, if they become separate, all the countries around will give them visa on arrival.. immediately LOL

Though i don't like your message, i must accept that it is the reality. The political class in TN will do anything to stay in news..the recent attack on Brahmins by DK is a case in point. If only these people attack the core issues of poor quality of education, poor communication skills of students in general and lack of employment oppurtunities with the same vigour as shown in the attack on Brahmins , the state would have progressed to become the No#1 state in the country but unfortunately the political class is pulling the state down

If i don't know Hindi ..does that make me less Indian..Cause according to Constitution India as a Country don't have Any National Language.
Hindi is just another regional language Tamil,Punjabi,Marathi,Bengali,Telgu..
and Yes India needs one language to communicate...but South and East will never accept imposition of Hindi ..If Hindi is declared as National Language then Native Hindi speakers will feel superior to non Hindi Native speakers..this will divide the nation ...Don't just put finger at Tamil Nadu..Even in Punjab there were protest in 50's 60's for imposition of Hindi..No State will agree to that..Nothing against Hindi..we respect Hindi just as we respect anyother language of India...and for Everybody...Even in Mumbai people speak Urdu Mix language...Pure hindi will be bouncer..Bollywood is and was Urdu industry..listen to songs old new.dialogues...
