I had purchased LG 47inch LED Tv some months back but was not happy with performance.also its display panel went bust in less than 3 months.

Bought Samsung series 6 LED 46 inch.the difference is day and night. the picture quality is awesome and you actually feel you are inside the movie/serial/game you are watching.plus it supports almost every video format through usb (sony supports only mpeg2)

recommended.
i should mention we have internet tv which usually has hdtv like reception.

These TV s are very costly as on date. The type of program that are broadcasted nowadays, is it worth putting so much money on a TV? If the signal strength a bit less / defective the LCD TV gives a very bad picture compared to our conventional CRT TVs. Of course one good aspect of LCD TVs I think is the less amount of X rays and lesser power consumption. Other than that in general the pictures in the LCD TV is not as good as it is observed in CRT TVs. Again the LCD TVs are very much prone to damage due to its very thin dimensions! The aspect ratio of LCD TV is also not so user friendly.....
