Every one is now understanding the impact of good food habits on health and mind.i would like to suggest that brush your teeth before going to bed every night and take 1.25 litre water(4 glasses) preferably warm one immediately after you wake up in the morning. Do not take anything for about 20-25 minutes and after first urine pass take or drink tea/coffee if you do and then take heavy breakfast full of wholesome cereals/sprouts,dals, seasonal, vegetables and fruits. Include milk, yoghurt/curds/buttermilk and cheese in your routine diet. Take light lunch and take very light dinner preferably devoid of oil, fats, cream. Do include apples in your daily diet. Wash them 2-3 times and consume along with the skin, do not peel it off to take full health benefits .Yellow and green apples are the best they are anti-canceous, help keep blood pressure in control due to the presence of potassium in abundance, regulate bowel movement, full of pectin, flavanoids, nutrients and vitamins.

I was tipping the scales at 96 K.G. on a 5'10" frame and decided to go to a healthier 78 K.G. I dont know why people keep on saying weight loss is very tough. Please relax it is actually very easy. The simple formula is you will lose weight if your calories intake is less than your calories burned per day. There is no mumbo jumbo to it and anybody else who tries to convince you other wise is just making a fool of you. You can reduce calorie intake by 1. Obviously eating lesser calories. 1.1. By eating lesser food 1.2 By eating less of fatty and carbohydrate rich food. 2. By increasing your calorie spent 2.1 By increasing your metabolism, eat more number of meals at shorter durations. 5-6 small meals a day at 2-3 hours interval. 2.2 Increasing metabolism by eating spicy food, food rich in mirchi (capscican), pepper increases your metabolism. 2.3 By taking metabolism enhancing drugs(not recommened)
I personally lost weight on Aitkins diet, but I would NOT recommend it for typical Indian.

I have heard somewhere that if one does cycling and swimming for a certain duration of time every day, all parts of the body get exercised and one can be healthy.
I have also heard that a game of tennis also involves all parts of the body, but it is a costly affair.
As for me, though I have put on weight of late, I feel that my habit of walking for an hour or so everyday from my early days (I started walking from the time I was about 10 or 11 years old) has definitely helped me to a great extent in maintaining a good health.
I completly agree the third point. Belive me i have experienced it. So, rediff readers, please dont read any pseudo secular article published in rediff, it will increase stress. That will again affect your metabolism.
After long interval time, i could see a good article from rediff. Instead of publishing some useless pseudo secular article, rediff should publish these types of article.

I usually read your (and your ilk's) pseudo-nationalistic posts to relieve me of my constipation. It works, everytime. See..I gotta go!

There are truly many like RightSaidFred who are scared to s**t the moment nationalism is talked about rather than the divisive secularism.
