doctors are recommending nuts as snacks (cashew, almond, pista etc ) even for person who is supposed reduce weight. But the article says is calorie of the same is high.

Its how much u eat.
if u eat 500 gm each day that too much for someone who is already overeating and fat, eat not more than 100- 150 gm plus 30% of total food should be vegetables, 10% oil/fat unsaturated is better.
