Right way of wearing dress
by swami pudipeddi on Nov 19, 2010 10:01 AM

The suggestions to the working people both male and female are very appropriate. I noticed in USA that several traditional Indians are copying the dress code of USA?Westernstyle on the pretext that it is inevitable there. But I read that the first sikh enrolled in Army after training without compromising on his faith. This shows that who ever is adopting the dress code there are only trying to convince others that theya re wearing such dress because of compulsion. Ofcourse our anchors, Hindi cinemas now all pictures are showing the women dressed in objectionable mode revealing the top by wearing very low neck jackets, sleeveless blouses and latest fashion is not to have any blouse and copy the erstwhile tribal women who could not wear blouses on account of not knowing or non-availability. So it is upto the women to keep their body properly wrapped and not to instigate the males to outrage their modesty on account of their normal weakness towards the fairer sex.

The company you are employed by.
If you sell tea and cakes at the road side it does not matter what you wear, still you will not allow your wife to serve tea at a cafe in mini skirt.
Same goes for high profile companies.
I run a small photographic bussiness in UK. and our work involves lot of dirty places in factories etc and the order of the day is some thing storng and wear able so we wear jeans which are strong and take good abuse.
No high heels or low cut blouses and skirts.
not even long up to the ankle they are health safety hazards.
Now you know who decides.

Nose piercing?
by Swatkat M on Nov 17, 2010 02:09 PM

Women in our country have traditionally have had pierced noses - why import Western standards, rediff? Just because they don't approve doesn't mean we don't, too.

Add two more
Trainers.
Jeans.
Both are not part of a professionals dress.
Trainers are for training purpose and jeans are casuals worn especially wher tough wearing clothes are required.
Such as farms and factory floor.
But not in an office envoirnment.

Only factories and allied industries work Saturdays.
Again the offices stay closed.

Except in friday casuals as stipulated by company policy.

Talking of policies:

Me to my Dr: What is the cause of my ailment

Dr : Due to GENETICS

Me to my stock Broker: Why did Sensex shot up by 200 points yesterday and why it tanked by 300 points today - what special happened between yesterday and today.

Stock Broker: Market SENTIMENT was not good

Me to HR person: Why should I always wear a chaddi under my pant

HR guy: Dress code is Company POLICY

Inference: Genetics, Sentiment, Policy - all mean the same "I DONT KNOW"
