dell streak could have been a good challenge for samsung galaxy if you were looking to use it as a phone. But dell priced it at 35000 which is extremely high. for 3000 more if you can get samsung tab that is obviously abetter choice.

yours seems to be a freak case.....I have experienced Samsung's service centre and i can assure u that is is inferior to none....!
Samsung can clearly take the mantle of being the true IPhone / I Tab killer......Its products are really amazing and with great VFM (Value for Money).....
All most all models of Samsung mobile having touch screen are behaving erratically. I recently purchased one model S 8003. The screen is getting stuck and keeps hanging for 1-2 minutes, becomes alright afterwards. My son purchased another model GT-S5620 which got stuck and became useless. More over, Samsung has very few service centers adding to these problems.

Thats because S8003 uses a resistive touchscreen. I have samsung wave which has capacitive touchscreen.. works great!

I totally agree with this comment. If possible, please avoid. Please visit any of the Samsung Service center and take a call. You will get the feeling of the performance of the products. I purchased a Samsung Wave in August. Witin 3 months, it damaged 2 times (software problem). If you give it to service center, minimum it will take 15 days...think twice.... Regards Shiju

Have you tried updating the firmware to the latest? It can be done at home, no need to go to the service center

My dear friend...I have bought 5620 and it is working wonderfully well.... I am really impressed with Value for Money being provided by Samsung..... One of the reasons coz of which ur phone is behaving erratically could be overloading of Memory card with data... generally all phones become erratic when the memory card becomes totally full with data....
