Water Enema is best detoxing
by R Balasubramanian on Nov 11, 2010 04:32 PM  | Hide replies

Water Enema, daily two times in the morning and evening is the best detoxing which will not cost a fortune except Rs.65. Better to maintain strict food habits, daily exercise (30 minutes either one time or spread around two times), calm mind and of all a bold NO to alcohol and tobacco. Of all a Good night sleep of 7 hours will keep your body in sound health. Have a minimum of 8 glass of cold/warm water (2 ltrs) and drink water 15 mnts before food and no drinking of water after eating for about an hour and at night during sleep since the body will be in the process of eliminating the toxin accumulated in our body since morning. Completely avoid Chats and bakery foods as they contain gluten which will affect the intestines and problem with digestion. Reject Colas and minimise intake of Coffee and Tea (not on empty stomach)/ If you feel hungry and unable to eat drink plenty of water till you sit to eat.

Practice it regularly and see for yourself the result.

by bhanwar bothra on Nov 09, 2010 07:02 PM  | Hide replies

all above informations are useful and jains practice in their own regulated way.
i had done fasting without any food on plain water continously for 15days with a weight loss of 20pounds.body consume accumulated fats and toxin. on 16th day i felt my self with full of energies.
eating within day time, fasting on alternative day continously for whole years(by old)are common practice for cleaning body and keeping healthy in old age.

Fasting
by Rajaram on Nov 08, 2010 05:33 PM  | Hide replies

I do fast from morning to evening every monday basically to give rest to the system. I take only tender coconut water ( a litre) for the entire period. It gives me lightness during the fasting time. I never get agitated during this even if instigated by others. Try this simple technique

You dont get agitated coz you will have no energy to react. But what you are doing is good.
