I think Infosys & other IT companies has generated lot of employment and have upgraded the life style of middle class people. I am sure the next generation students will have easy access to computers & technologies pretty sooner that the gap between IIT, REC's and other engineering colleges will narrow down and the innovation & new products will blossom in India compared to present situation
Our youngsters can and will do all this. But, the problem in India is the Politicial establishment, which never encourages merit. The whole country is bogged down due to the corrupion, indifference and incapability of our political leaders.
These old politicians and Babus do not want or under-rate youngis, they want to enhence their retirement age, India with this population, must adopt to retire all people on army pattern where a Lt. Col retires at 50, whereas we are wasting young age. Neither we are controlling population nor giving chance to youngis everywhere, they are to wait till they get matured or old. Bad luck, our present oldis are totally responsible for such situation.
Everything is fine, but what about morality? The upcoming young generation is living with loose-Freedom; they set their goals to live in "utter enjoyment" without being concerned about "moral conducts". The Management concept is required to undergo change to give emphasis for making young managers to live meaninfully under model code of conduct, and leading people under them like-wise. This will take the country in another 20 years time, a heaven; away from the netherworld! I mean western culture!
What about common sense which is lacking in many with lengthy degrees. The first five year plans sidelined the South. What happened. People in the South started working hard and they could achieve overall growth, education etc. If Governments prevented jobs for certain categories, they went abroad. Now what happens the Centre has to go on taking care of the North.
RBI permitted Rahul Gandhi and NR Narayana Murthy promoted MFI viz SKS to collect 52% interest from farmers without sharing their risks and responsibilities.
In India's dummy democracy, SKS is killing 3 farmers everyday in AP and yet no police case is registered against Rahul Gandhi or NRN.
