Poor editing
by saleem on May 30, 2010 01:08 PM

The first few paragraphs are full of grammatical mistakes due to which the reader is forced to switch to another article. But to my amazement, the subsequent paragraphs are a result of elite english have no mistakes at all. I wonder whether the editor deliberately chose not to edit the first few works of Mahesh Vijapurkar so that he could demean him in front of his colleagues at Rediff. I would also like to add that however bad a reporting is, it is the duty of the editors and sub-editors to screen the written matter before it is published/posted. "Mumbai Mirror editors are you'll reading" ?

The year Vilasrao Deshmukh gets back in the Chief Ministers position, Latur will once again claim its position of topping the Boards.

The headline caught my attention but I was not able to make it beyond the second para due to numerous grammatical mistakes. Kindly edit the articles before posting

Useless crap

In Maharashtra Teachers take tuition's out of their usual school working hours, these teachers pay people in the state H.S.C board, the H.S.C board fellows then provide the Tuition teachers with necessary Question Papers. Then these are neatly distributed to whosoever attends the teacher's tuition's. This is the usual trend in many places. If not, simple thing question to ask is why we don't find many of these copy pundits in good positions. Only few students study and make it to a better life. As for the rest, the short cut takes them no where in life.

Now one more interesting thing is the tuition classes are never directly registered in the names of these school teachers, they would mostly be registered on the names of their wives, brothers or some relation. All are making money, thus sells Vidhya.
