You're right. These truly are Delhi gems. Big Chill, Chungwa and Karim's are our favourites too. and nothing beats Nirulas' HCF! Delhi is great for street foods. Each city has its own special offerings and this article about Delhi eats is nice to read. Good to see the pictures are not copied from professional sites but are your own. Will have to try this newer place Yum Yum Tree now.

I think I know quite a few places that serve delicious food in India but don't take credit cards. Dhabas, many Kathi roll and pav bhaji joints too. Its got nothing to do with a specific community. Even abroad there are many stores that still do not accept credit cards. The reason for that is a high fee charged by Credit Card companies/banks (2 to 5%) of each transaction to the vendor. Im sure if these restaurants asked the customer to pay that extra 2-5% fee to pay by credit card the majority of the population would not like it.
The best restaurant i'd been to is elbulli in the land of catalana at a place called Cala Montjoi,an amalgamation of molecular gastronomy, the waiting periods are quiet long though!

Gaylord near Churchgate station outside Brabourne Stadium in Bombay is equally good.

Did not know there was a Gaylord restaurant in Mumbai as well I will be there on my next visit to India. Gaylord in London is expectationaly good. But I will say nothing beats Pav Bhaji in Mumbai. It has its own merit and class. Simple, Tasty and Filling without any fuss..
