his idea was let them study empty stomach so that their next generation gets better life....
i and u may dislike the reservation policy but we gotto respect ambedkar for his vision (only mistake he did was not to make a law that reservations should end in 30-40 years - ie. 2 generations of benefit)
Inherently,there is a spark of intelligence in every one;what matters & is needed is it requires to be ignited.And for this ignition, there are several factors-say like family background,the company that one has,the tenacity one develops towards setting a goal & its achievement.In majority of the cases,the real worth of a person does not normally come out till one completes his college education. It is at the precincts of these academic institutions that the inside talents of persons get blossomed to the fullest extent since he tries to understand & analyse & interprete things which,however,very seldom occurs during the school education where the person happens still to be in adolescence-neither a child nor nor a fully grown up one with mental maturity.Precisely,for this simple reason,many of those who score 90 s average in SSC fail miserably to keep up the tempo.And Indian parents or teachers being what they are continue to believers in mugging up things without understanding the meaning of what their children/students learn-rather memorise for the sake of marks.Not to blame any one,I was given to understand that those who go for spot valuation of the SSC papers are paid the price for their labour as per the number of the answer sheets they value subject to a day's minimum & in the process have seldom any time to go through the entire answer & appreciate the originality of the student; instead they ar

Educating people has no more remained for the noble cause of having the intention of educating people, but it has become a big business where you are sure to make huge and quick money.
Now consider this school called New Horizon, in Bangalore where they seems to be asking for the following fees for admitting your child for the 1st std -
And after asking/taking so much of money, what they warn you is "THEY MAY ANY ACTION ON THE CHILD, INCLUDING HIS TERMINATION FROM THE SCHOOL, IF HE/SHE DOESN'T PERFORM WELL". After taking this huge amount(that includes one lakh for overall improvement), I don't understand how come they can't improve a student if he/she performs bed.
