CA's are un-necessarily making their profession tainted. Its just an administrative job which somebody has to do. Cause of some people the whole profession is getting tainted. But they are non-value adding activity in the industrial world. Just cause the tax system is complicated (actually projected as complicated)that some crooks take advantage of it and glorify themselves for a very high salary. western world failed cause of such flaws created by these people. Western world had advanced cause of technology excellence.

Every profession has a angel n evil face. Engineers, contractors who take bribe n build substandard structure. at least CAs are not killing people.there are gud CAs also in society. n nowadays 80% CAs prefer to take jobs, unlike in earlier days where they used to practice. a bad perception is not so easy to change. n i think CA community is fighting hard to change this.
I have seen many external auditors working with connivance with the managment. They are not only paid fees but illegal money to manipulate the accounts. Auditors are supposed to work for the shareholders but they work for the management. No doubt most of the CAs have not risen beyond auditors except Hiranandani

Kumar mangalam Birla is a CA. Shekhar Kapoor is a CA. TATA cracked CORUS deal only b'coz of a CA.

That Just shows how vulnerable and ignorant r v and depending upon an unwanted Non-value-adding professionals
do they teach the children that ultimately you have to become crooked as a ca otherwise you cannot do well in your profession. do they realise that the spanking shining west is the result of the white mans integrity and not competency(indians are much more competent at most jobs). the guidance must be given as to kids naturally lacking in qualities like honour, uprightness ,integrity and possessing immense greed and selfishness must definitely be given a push to take up this job ,otehrwise it will end up spoiling good people and some people will fail merely because of an inability to be shrewd/crooked. cheers

U people r just self proclaimed kings but actually crooks who help people tweak accounts to evade taxes. Just the whole profession is complicating and non-value-adding to the consumers
