Luck vs success
by full name on May 21, 2010 03:54 PM  | Hide replies

The symbolic phenomena behind success is luck, < is it really> off course it is not accepted by anyone.
But if this is not true, say for the time being, then why in most of the cases when we are falling we give all damn reason and association to the factor of luck rather then to the discrepancy in our earnest endeavor. Because here we go spiritual. Ok if this is possible in case of failure then why the opposite in case of success. Why we hesitate to accept the symbol of luck in behind when we get success. So here do we surpass the so called personification of luck factor ? ? What happen to our spirituality at this point. yes it is there, but we need to search for it little in depth. Here everything goes with the inadmissible passage of time dimensions. Since our birth we are smoothly transiting with the futuristic dimension of time which is definitely invisible to us, in a very simillar way as the arch-type of past moment associated with us is not understood at the present once we overcome the time. So its really difficult to digest since human being love to go with the reason rather than the belief. But it needs a deterministic dominion in our thought process and mind to arrive at the logic of belief and to feel the mathematics behind luck, which is really a case of uncertain probabilistic model which is definitely not superstitious belief but a symbol of higher science.

luck is the basic qualifier for a success. But hard work differentiates between an average success and super success.

Success Vs Failure
by Neelesh Shukla on May 21, 2010 10:03 AM

There's a very thin line of difference between a person who Succeeded and one who tried to succeed. The difference simply being that the former tried a bit longer. Courage is the only Ingredient in the recipe called success. Have Courage to stand agsinst all odds, Have the Courage to say 'No', when you have to, Have the Courage to Never stop trying. as they say... NO GUTS, NO GLORY!!

your luck is not alone to decide
by Sachin Deshpande on May 20, 2010 08:53 PM  | Hide replies

your luck is not alone to decide ...
it also depends on other people whom u are associated with ... :-)

it depends if u are emotional / emotionless ....

if u r emotionless ... then no matter what u will succeed ... coz u wont give up even if ur loved ones are in pain ...

also success is useful only at right time ... in later life it doesnot benefit much ... may be monetorily u might be having lot of money ... but how u left ur past life also matters ... the days never come again ...

finally success is relative ...

I perfectly agree with you.
Now a days, there is craze of articles praising high performing individuals. So far nothing wrong about it, but they must also write what were the sacrifices that the individual had made. Probably not everyone is ready with those sacrifices and success also has got different definitions for each individual. So the key message is : Identify what suits you and then just do not pay attention what world says about you / your job. Family should be always priority. One can regret about not spending enough time with family but it is harder to find individual who says '" I should have spend some more time in office."
Best wishes.

Boycott Srilanka
by against media on May 20, 2010 03:21 PM

Hi Editor,
I haven't seen any news in rediff regarding the film festival being organised in SriLanka. Various International reports says about genocide conducted by SLA, so rediff must join not to support film festival, instead ask the ppl to boycott it.

Absolute hogwash

All these idealistic notions have no value in real life...the only thing that matters in life is "Luck"....if you have it, you will be a success.....if you don't have it, even God cannot make you a winner..

I know i'll be called a cynic and what not, but truth always hurts and that is the truth......

I know you are a big time loser and i have hurt you where it hurts the most..

What i'am saying is that if you don't work hard, you will never succeed..

But even if you are extremely hard working and talented, you need that dose of luck to succeed....

Don't assume that others are wimps just cos you are one!!
