Gangtok is breathtaking! Its unbelievable in winter. I visited in January 2010 and its full of snow. Go to Tchangu Lake, Yamthang, Baba Mandir, Nathula and what not. Its uncomparable. I am from Assam.

hi i am shankar from southern region.Munnar is also in south side.This hill is between Tamilnadu and Kerala State.other details u can get thru' online like spots,hotels,locations etc.,

ya. from bangalore, you just take a car and drive to munnar. anyway, after reaching munnar, you will wonder where is munnar, because munnar is so fast losing its charm, next only to bangalore, where nobody wants to live anymore.

I agree with you.. Bengaluru is in no way a touristic place.. It should not have been in the list !!!
a 5 day stay in munnar is almost same as taking a 3 day stay in Srilanka including the flight tickets...so why not have an international holiday than a local one?

Costly yes.. I don't know whats your idea abt vacation. But vacation is for relax, enjoy and have a good time at reasonable cost. So whats the fun of just having the "International" Tag. I would have agreed if you have said places like mauritius at same cost.
