What "Indian sensitivities" does the author say the foreign universities must adapt to? Adopting the sickening and sucking Reservation Policy for OBCS, BCs and SCs that has thoroughly screwed up the local educational institutions? The foreign universities aren't stupid to do that!
The need of the hour is fresh influx of foreign universities in India, Indian Universities are stretched to its capacity and hence when demand runs more than the supply it has many heart rendering issues. The competition is so fierce in premier Institutions that the administrators behave like as if they own the place. I have first hand experience and though one may graduate finally from these Institutions, we make young men who are stone hearted or professionals who have no real purpose in life except to make money ASAP. Both Doctors and Engineers are really pathetic in terms of knowledge base or with an holistic approach. Foreign Universities entering India was long overdue, but like one says "Its never too late".
