English conversation
by raman govindan on May 17, 2010 11:48 AM

seeing english films, reading magazines like times, newsweek, fortune and the english news dailes and channels, knowledge channels like discovery etc, comics like archies, top selling novels and non fiction books in english and conversation with parents, relatives, friends, colleagues and in market should make gradual improvement.

my wife a tamil lady, could converse in telugu by seeing lot of telugu films and by conversing with neighbours in telugu in a few years time. none could tell that she was not from andhrapradesh by hearing her speak in telugu.

second language learning is same with every other language. interest and practice are essential.

Thank You all.
Regards to preparation of English for Hindi medium students, I will say if you identify something as a problem it no more remains a problem, rather it becomes a challenge.
Go all out and BELL the CAT

even 98 is not enough
by accounting master on May 13, 2010 05:32 PM  | Hide replies

Both times I scored around 98 percentile. I did not get an interview call from any of the IIMs.

I am sure if he had a caste certificate he would have passed out from IIM A now.

Well So much for democracy and equality

SC/ST are different Sir....there are still many dalits who are considered untouchable, have to live in separate colonies and do lowly tasks for livelihood which are beyond all worst human rights voilation..'here' there is a inequality so 'there' is that inequality..but still the inequality 'here' outweighs that inequality.

by Bhasmasur Rakshasa on May 13, 2010 11:23 AM

Great job Ayush......congrats to you.......

Great thing that you did Career Lsuncher mocks, i did the same and cleared CAT with spectacular results..Career Launcher mocks were the only reason why i cleared the CAT, cos my level of preparation was not of a great order otherwise....

Once again, hearty congrats....
