Mother's Love

Except for the unlucky, all of us must have/have been enjoyed/enjoying MOTHERS LOVE in abundance and such people are extremely lucky to have been blessed with caring and loving mothers. It need not be explained formally. The other form for LOVE is MOTHER.She is the greatest and the best of all things in the world. There is no substitute for her love and affection.Almost in all the world languages, the word "MOTHER" is expressed as a very tasty word & in my own vernacular Telugu language, poetically the word "AMMA" is expressed as "Amma annadi oka kammani mata, adi ennenno theeyani mamatala moota"(tasty word and a bundle of several affections).Left to my own interpretation, I would say that in the word "AMMA'-(Mother),every letter independently coveys its own great passion- the two A s for Anuragam(Love) and Apyayatha(Affection) and the two M s for Mamatha(kindness in a way)and Mardavamu (Tenderness) She is the audition of the Goddess before our eyes and is responsible for our birth. I will be mincing words to express the feelings which can be narrated efficaciously only in a mother tongue-so much so like the sweetest language Telugu-"Devude ledanu vadunnadu, amme ledanu vadu asale ledu'(There are people who say "there is no God but there is none who could say-"there is no mother") I heard our elders saying that after the Gods

.Lord Brahma, the creator had then created AMMA,the mother. In the modern world the only unadulterated thing available is motherliness.
No doubt children love their mother 365 days a year, but a day like today brings that affection in to sharp focus. There is no measuring rod for mother's love;it is infinite,it is a shelter made up of love and affection. It does not get extinct with eflux of time.Even with all this fast changing life styles of people, the coolness of motherhood would not get eroded.Considering all the virtues of mother only, she has been accorded the status of one of the three angles on the earth in the ancient Indian scriptures-"Mathru devo Bhava!!!, Pithru devo Bhave!!! ,Acharya Devo Bhava!!!" Even in parents, mother occupies the first position. We say'Mother and Father'(Amma and Nanna) AND not 'Father and Mother'(Nanna and Amma). It is because the father ,some times, could prove cruel and erratic but never the mother. There is a story associated to express well this mothers trait.A guy falls in love with a girl, but the girl was soar about his fiance's love for his mother. She asks her lover, on one day, that to prove his love, he should bring and present her with his mothers heart. The lover fool does not understand the trick of his love.He comes to his mother and vents out the desire of the girl friend.

The mother who is an embodiment of Love and Love alone and who does not mind sacrificing any thing for keeping his child happy says"Oh Son!!I am at the end of my life. You have to live long happily. You take my heart"The foolish son cuts her breast and takes out the heart and starts running with joy & jubilation to reach his love. And in the process he hits a stone and fells down.EVEN AT THAT TIME,the mother's heart while slipping off from his hands throbs and sobs saying "Oh Son!!Have you sustained injury?".Such is the innocent and selfless love of a mother to his child.A mother is the friend, philosopher and guide for any child;she is taller than the sky.In fact a Telugu poet rightly said -"Ammanu Kaalenani Aakaasham Kumilindi" (the sky itself emits all its jealousy over was envious the stature of the mother since it could not reach. the latter's her height. The debt of a mother whose love is the sweetest & immeasurable is irredeemable. All children should specifically remember this day celebrated as a mark of respect to her & do their best to make her happy & proud to have begotten them.Mother Goddess!!Salutations to you!!

A serrogate mother, though gives birth to a child, out of monetary considerations, but not out of passion for children & love for them, can never be treated as a "mother"in the strict sense of the term, but could only be considered as one who lets out her womb for a rent.Such mothers abjectly lack the feeling of motherhood & can never be equated with the natural mothers. In fact,it is a misnomer to call such women as "mothers".
